Happy New Year!  We have upgraded our website and added new links, including one to our new Facebook page.  We will remain open for the winter and are offering a winter rate reduction of $25 on all our suites.  The winter is a special time on Smith Lake.  The lake is often quiet and the water is very still.  Lights from the opposite shore are reflected in the smooth surface of the lake.  Clear nights are great for star gazing and the moon often reflects in the water.  In our part of Alabama, winter days are often mild and it is pleasant to enjoy outdoor activities.  When the weather  is not so mild; you can sit beside a cozy fire.  We have completed upgrades to the interior of our B&B and plan to concentrate on the grounds in 2012.  We will continue cleaning up downed trees in our adjacent woods and plan to add walking trails.  We hope to see you in 2012.
